Wellbeing
At Lamberhurst St. Mary’s Church of England VC Primary, we believe wellbeing is at the heart of learning. We aim to support children emotionally, socially and physically so they feel safe, valued and ready to participate in school life. For parents, this means working together to build routines and encouragement that help children thrive both in and out of the classroom.
We promote positive relationships and a calm, respectful environment where children understand expectations and feel confident to ask for help. Staff use clear, consistent approaches to support behaviour, manage feelings and develop resilience. As children grow, we also teach skills such as self-regulation, kindness and perseverance, helping them to cope with challenges and celebrate progress.
We encourage families to strengthen wellbeing through everyday habits: regular sleep, healthy meals, time to be active, and opportunities to talk about feelings. If you have any concerns about your child’s mood, friendships or learning, please speak with the school—early support makes a real difference. Together, we can ensure every child at Lamberhurst St. Mary’s feels supported, included and able to flourish.
